Scottish Folk Tales is a 1976 anthology of 18 fairy tales from Scotland that have been collected and retold by Ruth Manning-Sanders. It is one in a long series of such anthologies by Manning-Sanders. In the foreword, the author writes, "[T]hey are age-old stories, and come from various parts of Scotland." Some of the tales, she continues, come from John o' Groats, Orkney and the Border country, among other areas.
